Huelva province
Huelva province is a region of Andalusia with emerging tourist services sector. Due to that, cities and resorts are often better planed than another one in Spain. Huelva province is situated in the South of Spain, in the western part of autonomous region of Andalusia. It is washed by the Atlantic Ocean and boarded by Portugal and the provinces of Cadiz, Seville, and Badajoz. The capital of the province is Huelva.
Huelva province is one of the least visited provinces in Andalusia. However, its escape from mass tourism is one of its attractions. There are a lot of places to visit in Huelva. The landscape is inconceivably diverse. Marshes, pine woods, sand dunes, salt flats, lagoons and wetland areas are home to improbable multitude of wildlife. In winter and spring thousands of wildfowl occupy national park. Therefore, Huelva province is fit for rural tourism.
Today Huelva province is more and more popular with tourists whom are seeking for rest on a shore. The province has long coastline with unspoiled golden sandy beaches. Huelva and the province of Cadiz share huge tourists region called Costa de la Luz. People, who are found of active rest, should visit Ayamonte. It is an ideal place for kitesurfing, windsurfing and sailing. There are a number of golf courses located in and near the town. To the South of Ayamonte there is small island Isla Canela that caters tourists for its wide sandy beaches.
