The seventeenth stage of The PGA European Tour is about to start in the city of Marbella, Malaga province, Andalusia, Spain. It is followed by the Estoril Open in Portugal.

The Andalusia Open Golf is taking place from Thursday, 26 March, to Sunday, 29 March. It will be of a stroke play format with 1 million dollars guarantee as a prize found. The record of this tourney, 268,20 under par score, was set in 2007 and it is belonged to Lee Westwood from England. The winner of the 2008 Andalusia Open Golf was French sportsman Thomas Levet. In the coming tourney, among the participants there are Miguel Angel Jimenez, Paul Lawrie, Jose Manuel Lara, Jose Maria Olazabal, Thomas Levet and Colin Montgomerie.

The host of The Andalusia Open Golf, Marbella, is an Andalusian city in the province of Malaga.  The city is belonged to a popular resort area Costa del Sol. First of all, Marbella is famous for the golf areas located around it.
