Portal users selected the best of the best among 93 historic hotels in Spain. The study is based on opinions. First place went to a historic hotel in the province of Jaén, located in the Castle of Santa Catalina. According to users’ opinions the victory went to Jaen thanks largely to its reputation of the capital of Andalusia and also because of its beautiful olive orchards and the quality of local cuisine, which is one of the best in Spain.
Among the honorable hotels in Spain users identified historic hotel Placentia in the province of Caceres. It is noted that the historic hotel opens from a new side rest in Extremadura and, moreover, charms by its magnificent architecture and location.
Historical Alarcon hotel of Cuenca province received from users of Trivago third place not only for a combination of tradition and modernity, but also by incomparable panorama, which allows you to fully enjoy the natural environment.
Chinchón hotel in the province of Madrid got the fourth place not only due to the amazing architecture, but also because of the offered kitchen, which made it one of the culinary symbols of Madrid.
Historic Santo Estevo hotel in the province of Orense, located in the Castle of VI-VII centuries, got the sixth place thanks to the unique preservation of its facilities. Here are located entirely preserved three indoor galleries in the Romanesque and Gothic styles.
Among historic hotels of Spain there is one that is popular with the guests because of wide range of opportunities for recreation. The seventh place holds the Canas de Onis hotel in the province of Asturias.
