On one of the main islands of the Balearic Islands - Majorca - opened the first Spanish hotel complex of the Romantik Hotels & Restaurants chain.
It includes Cases de Son Barbassa - an agro-tourist villa, which is located on the north-east part of the island, on the territory of "finca" - traditional Spanish countryside manor surrounded by olive and almond plantations. Near the homestead is situated the Llevant of Majorca National Park.
Romantik Hotels & Restaurants hotel chain chooses unique places for its hotels. And the new property on Mallorca was no exception. Hotel Cases de Son Barbassa is located in the estate of the 16th century, which also served as a fortress. When the architects created the hotel, they retained part of the historic architecture adding to it modern elements.
The estate is located on the top of a picturesque hill. Cala Mesquida Bay view is considered to be a major advantage of the new Romantik Hotels & Restaurants property.
Restaurant is another big plus of the Hotel Cases de Son Barbassa. The estate specializes on the Mediterranean cuisine, where are used only fresh products from the hotel garden or bought at a local peasant market. In addition, the olive oil for the local delicacies is produced on the old press located on the territory of the hotel.
In addition to the rural hotel, Romantik Hotels & Restaurants also presented Romantik Hotel S'Olivaret hotel, which is a part of the complex and, where is located a very unique olive oil press, which was built in 1888.
Romantik Hotels & Restaurants is a German hotel chain, founded in 1973. To date, Romantik Hotels & Restaurants offers its services only in Germany. The first experience on the Spanish market promises not to be the last. During the next two years Romantik Hotels & Restaurants plans to open 15 new hotels in Spain.
