Twelve luxury hotels will represent Spain at the prestigious International Conde Nast Travel 2012 award, which grand presentation will be held on November 7 in London.
American journal Condé Nast Traveler has been published by the Condé Nast Publications corporation specifically for the travelers for more than 30 years, produces guides to prestigious hotels and resorts around the world. It enjoys immutable reputation among the travelers around the world. The publication is often called even the tourist bible, so hotels, which received positive reviews from the magazine, can expect significant increase of visitors. Particularly prestigious are annual awards, which can get only the best hotels in the world in 19 different categories. Many Spanish hotels are among the potential winners of the international Conde Nast Travel 2012 award, which is also quite prestigious for the country as a whole.
Luxury hotels in Spain will be nominated in eleven categories. For example, for the best coastal hotel will be nominated 2 hotels - Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahía Real on the Canary Islands and Gran Meliá Don Pepe Hotel in Malaga. Dolce Sitges Hotel was the only candidate from continental Europe for the award of the best hotel for the business MICE-tourism among hotels with more than 100 rooms.
Tenerife hotel Gran Hotel Bahía del Duque Resort will participate in the most prestigious nomination for the best hotel.
Nominated hotels represent the following regions: 4 hotels from Andalusia, 3 from Catalonia, 2 from the Canary Islands and one from the Balearic Islands, the Basque Country and Valencia.
