Playa del Arco is in Los Escullos and is characterized by dunes. Its sand is generally fine, although there are also stony areas in places. This means the beach is not uniform throughout: both fine sand and stony stretches are part of its character. Playa del Esparto is also near Los Escullos. Fossil Dunes and Castillo de San Felipe

Coastal Paths: A Different Perspective
The S07 coastal path runs along the coast between Los Escullos and Isleta del Moro; it begins at Playa del Arco, north of the settlement. From the S07, you can see significant marine formations of Posidonia oceanica. The path thus combines its coastal route with views of distinctive marine formations. Three marked paths also lie near the S07: the S06 Sendero Escullos – Pozo de los Frailes, the S03 Sendero Loma Pelada, and the S08 Sendero Requena. The S07 is the path with an explicitly stated route between two places; S06, S03, and S08 provide additional options as nearby marked routes.
